About the Role:
As a Greeter Representative at our prestigious embassy, you will play a crucial role in shaping the first impressions of our visitors. This position offers a unique blend of responsibilities that make it both challenging and rewarding. You’ll be at the forefront of international relations, providing vital support in a vibrant and multicultural environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for visitors, representing the embassy with professionalism and warmth.
- Efficiently manage visitor flow, guiding them to appropriate areas, ensuring a smooth and organized process.
- Verify visitor identities and appointment details, maintaining a secure and seamless entry process.
- Provide guidance and information to visitors in the waiting area, enhancing their overall experience.
- Maintain order and calm in the entrance and exit areas, ensuring a pleasant environment for all visitors.
- Stay alert to security situations, adhering to the embassy’s strict safety protocols.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate with supervisory staff, prioritizing the safety and security of visitors.
- Assist with logistical tasks, including mail and document handling, under proper supervision and guidance.
- Perform additional duties as needed, contributing to the embassy’s efficiency and image.
- Full-time role: 42 hours per week, 5 days a week.
- Initial contract of 12 months, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Ideal for individuals who have recently completed a commercial apprenticeship or are recent graduates High School or university students.
- Fluent in English and German (min. B2-Level) with excellent communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented with a commitment to providing a positive experience for visitors.
- Capable of working effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- A team player with a respect for diversity and cultural sensitivity.
- Working Permit in Switzerland is a must.
