To support the Visa Application Centers in Bern, May Consulting is currently looking for a highly motivated, talented for languages and independent person who can start working as soon as possible.
The office is located right in the city centre at the embassy with excellent Public Transport opportunities around.
Working hours: 40 hours / 7am to 4pm from Monday to Friday
Holiday: 5 Weeks or more depending on your age
Areas of responsibility:
- Processing applications and data entry
- Collection and scrutiny of passports from the Application Centre
- Handover of Passports to the High commission and/or its Consulates.
- Handover of passports to Courier/Applicants
- Handover of passports to post office
- Handling of postal applications
- Scanning and uploading of documentation
- Tracking of passports
- Handling customer queries in person, by email and on the telephone
- Fee collection and cash handling
- Preparing reports for day to day transactions
- General administration duties
- The above list is not exhaustive, and other duties may be required from time to time in line with business requirements
Experience | Qualifications required
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Must have Languages: German (C1), English (C1), French (A2) and Spanish would be an asset
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- A good attention to accuracy and detail
- Independent Worker
- A proactive can-do attitude

Tätigkeiten:
- Bearbeiten von Kundenanfragen per Mail, am Telefon und vorwiegend am Schalter
- Allgemeine Verwaltungsaufgaben
- Kontakte zu Konsulaten
- Bearbeitung von postalischen Anträgen
- Scannen und Hochladen von Dokumenten
- Abholung und Prüfung der Pässe
- Schreiben von Rechnungen
- Erledigung der Post
Anforderungen:
- Sehr gute Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch, Französisch und Englisch – Kenntnisse der arabischen Sprachen ist ein Plus
- Freude an administrativen Arbeiten
- Versierter Umgang mit der EDV
- Einsatzbereitschaft, Durchhaltewille, rasche Auffassungsgabe
- Freundliche und respektvolle Umgangsformen
- Freude an der Arbeit im Team und im Kontakt mit Kunden und Konsulaten

The Indian and Russian Visa Center in Geneva is looking for an Intern (age: 16 to 25 years old) starting as soon as possible.
The Company is the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide. It manages administrative and non-judgmental tasks related to visa, passport, identity management and other citizen services for its client governments enabling them to focus entirely on the critical task of assessment.
To support the Visa Application Centers in Geneva, May Consulting is currently looking for a highly motivated – Russian Speaking – Intern starting as soon as possible. Language skills in English must be at a B2-level.
The office is located right in the city centre with excellent Public Transport opportunities around.
Working hours: Full Time
Office hours are in general Monday to Friday between 8:00am – 5:30pm

Obwohl er durch die Invalidenversicherung Hilfe bekam, war sein Drang sich weiterzubilden und mehr zu leisten sehr gross. Und er hat es geschafft! Nachholbildung: Jeder siebter Schweizer hat keinen Abschluss!
Ca. 600’000 Schweizer im Alter zwischen 25 und 64 Jahren haben weder eine Berufsausbildung noch einen Abschluss auf Sekundarstufe II abgeschlossen. Eine beträchtliche Summe. Viele von ihnen möchten diesen Abschluss in der Nachholbildung erlangen, jedoch schaffen es nur 3000 Personen jährlich.

Berufsschau 2017 in Liestal: Rund 140 Aussteller gaben auf einem Ausstelllungsgelände von über 8000 Quadratmeter im Frenkenbündtenareal in Liestal Auskunft über 220 Berufe, welche im Rahmen des dualen Bildungssystems erlernt werden können. Zur Berufsbildung gehören die berufliche Grundbildung, die höhere Berufsbildung sowie die berufsorientierte Weiterbildung. Das Schweizer Berufsbildungssystem mit seiner dualen Ausrichtung auf der Sekundarstufe II und einer breiten höheren Berufsbildung auf der Tertiärstufe ausserhalb der Hochschule unterscheidet sich von anderen europäischen Berufsbildungssystemen. Es zeichnet sich aus durch eine hohe Durchlässigkeit und bietet ein breites Spektrum an Aus- und Weiterbildungen.
Neu: International ausgerichtete Berufslehren Zentralschweiz
Mit Take your Chance nimmt die Berufsbildung, Zentralschweiz eine wichtige Aufgabe wahr. Erstmals werden international ausgerichtete Berufslehren angeboten. Diese Ausbildungen werden vom 9.11. – 12.11 an der Zentralschweizer Bildungsmesse vorgestellt. Auch May Consulting wird sich vor Ort informieren.
Frau Claudia May ist seit über 11 Jahren in Luzern Prüfungsexpertin und interessiert sich in 2018 erstmals Prüfungen in Englisch in Zug abzunehmen.
