One of the commonwealth Country Visa Center in Bern is looking for a Visa and Immigration Officer 100%
To support the Visa Application Centers in Bern, May Consulting is currently looking for a highly motivated, talented for languages and independent person who can start working as soon as possible.
The office is located right in the city centre at the embassy with excellent Public Transport opportunities around.
Working hours: 40 hours / 7am to 4pm from Monday to Friday
Holiday: 5 Weeks or more depending on your age
Areas of responsibility:
- Processing applications and data entry
- Collection and scrutiny of passports from the Application Centre
- Handover of Passports to the High commission and/or its Consulates.
- Handover of passports to Courier/Applicants
- Handover of passports to post office
- Handling of postal applications
- Scanning and uploading of documentation
- Tracking of passports
- Handling customer queries in person, by email and on the telephone
- Fee collection and cash handling
- Preparing reports for day to day transactions
- General administration duties
- The above list is not exhaustive, and other duties may be required from time to time in line with business requirements
Experience | Qualifications required
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Must have Languages: German (C1), English (C1), French (A2) and Spanish would be an asset
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- A good attention to accuracy and detail
- Independent Worker
- A proactive can-do attitude

Die Firma May Consulting berät Menschen in der Berufs- und Laufbahnberatung und coached Mitarbeitende im Auftrag von Firmen in der Neuorientierung. Für ein führendes Ingenieurbüro für Gebäudetechnik auf dem Platz Basel suchen wir Sie:

Als ausgewiesener Fachspezialist beratet, konzipiert und plant das Ingenieurbüro gebäudetechnische Anlagen in den Sparten Sanitär, Sprinkler, Medien und Grundleitungen/Kanalisation.
Ihre Aufgaben
- Erarbeitung von Konzepten und Lösungsvarianten
- Planung von interessanten Projekten mittels 2D/3D
- Mitarbeit bei BIM-Projekten
- Unterstützung bei der Fachkoordination
- Beratung der am Bau beteiligten Personen
Ihr Profil
- Abgeschlossene Lehre als Gebäudetechnikplaner/in Sanitär EFZ
- Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung
- Eine abgeschlossene Weiterbildung als dipl. Sanitärtechniker/in HF wäre ein Plus
- Ausgezeichnete Fachkenntnisse in den CAD- und PC-Anwenderprogrammen
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Kreative, analytische, innovative und flexible Persönlichkeit mit einem selbstsicheren Auftreten
